#1: New Beginning: How bowling made me to kick start my newsletter
Thank you for joining me on my first article, let me share you why I started this Newsletter.
This week, I travelled to Munich to participate in a team-building event. We went bowling as part of the event, a sport I had never tried before. We were divided into three groups and began playing the game. As my turn came, I rolled my first ball. To my surprise, I cleared all the standing pins. Simple, isn't it?
Now, my second turn came, and with the same enthusiasm, I threw the second ball. This time, the ball didn't even touch a single pin. The third and fourth turns passed, and the first game was completed. I didn't score any more points. The second game began again, and after three rounds, I still couldn't hit a single pin. In the fourth round, I told myself, "Chaitanya, you're taking things too hard. You don't need to meet anyone's expectations. Just relax and throw the ball with a straight hand." Finally, I could hit some pins. Of course, I didn't clear all of them, but only a few pins were left. In later rounds, I was able to hit more pins, and the second round was much better than the first.
After the game, I started thinking about why I couldn't start writing. For many days, in fact, years, I had been planning to start writing and sharing my knowledge with others. However, whenever I began writing, I was overwhelmed by my thoughts. I didn't know what to write about. When I tried to gather information, I got distracted by social media. Additionally, procrastination played a major role. But after the game, I told myself again, "Chaitanya, don't think too much. Just start writing."
Recently, a friend introduced me to writing on Substack. Although I had been using Substack to consume content for a long time, I had never considered writing on it. Now, here I am.
In my newsletter, I will share information about efficient Personal Knowledge Management techniques, which are essential in today's information-overloaded world. I will also write articles about technology trends, historical events and many more.
This week, I discovered something technologically fascinating. I encountered a student who is studying robotics. While we are having conversation about AI, he introduced me to a company named Figure. When watched the below video, I was really amazed.
When watched this I thought all the Sci-Fi became reality. I was amazed by the actions of the Robot. The software of the robot is powered by OpenAI. OpenAI recently announced a new version of it’s AI model which can Identify things in real-time and can interact with others just like humans do. Now seeing this software in humanoid form is amazing also provoking crazy imaginations around it. Soon, in the nearest future we see robots roaming on the streets just like us.
Welcome to Subtrack.. you will rock.
